Share questions and concerns with your peers, make new friends, and expand your circle of colleagues. MCVMA meetings are held every other month, typically on the last Tuesday evening of the month.

Our meetings and newsletters will keep you informed about what’s happening in our local veterinary community. Our newsletter also includes a listing of CE opportunities, current legislative topics, job/classified ad listings, etc. Classified ads are free to members!
- Legislative monitoring and lobbying
Our association interfaces with the CVMA and AVMA to help protect your professional interests as a practicing veterinarian. It is essential that veterinarians work together to influence the future of our profession.
- Interface with influential organizations
The MCVMA interfaces with the Marin Humane Society , the CVMA, the AVMA, the County Health Department and the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, ensuring that Marin veterinarians have a voice in these organizations as well as access to the latest information.

The MCVMA serves as an important community resource for questions and concerns regarding all aspects of the veterinary profession.
- Voluntary Medical Review Panel
Upon request, the MCVMA may review client complaints and provide a non-binding opinion to the involved parties, providing an alternative to review by the Veterinary Medical Board or formal legal action.
